Tommy was a little boy. He was two years old. Tommy loved spring.
One sunny day, Tommy said, “Let's go to the garden!”
His mommy smiled. “Yes, Tommy! Let's see the flowers.”
In the garden, Tommy saw green grass. “Green grass!” he said, clapping his hands.
Tommy saw red flowers. “Red flowers!” he giggled.
“Look, Mommy! The flowers are waking up!”
“Yes, they are, Tommy!” Mommy said. “We can help them grow.”
Tommy took a little watering can. “Splash, splash!” he poured water on the flowers.
“Good job, Tommy!” Mommy said.
Tommy saw a bee buzzing. “Buzz, buzz!” said the bee.
“Hello, bee!” said Tommy. “Are you happy?”
The bee flew around. “Buzz, buzz!”
Tommy laughed. “The bee likes the flowers!”
Next, Tommy saw a little worm. “Wiggly worm!” he said.
“Worms help the soil,” Mommy explained.
“Worms are good!” Tommy smiled.
Tommy and Mommy planted seeds. “Plant, plant!” Tommy said, digging in the dirt.
“Seeds will grow,” Mommy said.
Tommy looked up at the sky. “Blue sky!” he cheered.
“Spring is fun!” Tommy said.
“Yes, it is!” Mommy agreed.
Tommy felt happy in the garden. “I love spring!” he said.
“Me too, Tommy!” Mommy replied.
Together, they enjoyed the beautiful spring day.
