How to add ebooks to your e-reader or app?
Kobo / Vivlio / PocketBook (e-readers)
- Connect the e-reader to the computer via USB.
- Drag and drop the .epub files into the Books / Documents folder (the folder name may vary depending on your e-reader model).
- Eject the e-reader: the library updates automatically.
Kindle Amazon (Paperwhite, Oasis, Kindle apps...)
Kindle is not natively centered on .epub. Two ultra-simple methods:
Option 1 — Send to Kindle (recommended)
- Download the .epub.
- Use Send to Kindle (app, extension, or Amazon site) and send your .epub to your Kindle address (see how on Amazon documentation).
- The ebook appears on your Kindle after Wi-Fi synchronization.
Option 2 — Conversion via Calibre (full control)
- Install Calibre on your computer.
- Add books → choose the .epub.
- Convert books → Output format AZW3 or KFX.
- Connect your Kindle via USB → Send to device.
Apple Books (iOS/iPadOS/macOS)
- Download the ebook in .epub format about the story of your choice
- Open the file (or, if it does not open, go to Share → Open in Apple Books).
- The ebook appears in Library (available offline).
Android (Google Play Books)
- Download the .epub file.
- Open Google Play Books → Import → choose the .epub.
- Immediate reading, font and theme settings.
PC/Mac (Calibre / Thorium)
- Install Calibre or Thorium Reader (both of these software are Open source and free, and are also compatible with Windows/macOS/Linux).
- Add books → select your .epub files.
- Read, organize, send to your e-reader.

First of all, you need to be logged into your account.
From the page of each story (except for interactive stories), click on "Download ebook (format .epub)" (button located at the top of the page, under the story summary on computer/tablet or at the very bottom of the page on mobile). A window opens indicating your remaining monthly download quota. If your quota allows it, click on the "Download" button: the .epub file saves directly to your device.
Then open the file with your reading app/software (Apple Books, Google Play Books, Calibre, or Thorium) or move the file to your USB-connected e-reader (for Amazon's Kindle see our tutorial above).
You can download 5 free ebooks each month with the basic account (and keep them for free for life!). Higher plans allow you to increase the limit.

Ebooks are for personal and non-commercial use, under Creative Commons BY-NC-ND License (Attribution – Non-Commercial Use – No Modification).
You may: download and read offline; share the unchanged file in a non-commercial manner (family, class, library…) with attribution, print unchanged copies for non-commercial use with attribution.
You may not: sell or use the work commercially (advertising, paid subscription, derivative products, bundles, paid apps, etc.); modify the work (translate, remix, cut, adapt) or create derivative works; apply DRM or add restrictions limiting the sharing rights provided by the license; redistribute commercially or republish on download platforms without written consent.

Yes, on your personal devices (e.g. phone + tablet + e-reader).
Indefinitely as long as the story is online. You can re-download at no charge (you are not deducted from your monthly quota when re-downloading an ebook that has already been downloaded in the past).
- Update your app (Apple Books / Google Play Books / Calibre / Thorium).
- Re-download the ebook.
- If necessary, open it in Calibre and then save it again as .epub.
- Contact us if none of these solutions worked.
The format is not intended for printing. Printing is allowed for personal use only. No paper distribution without agreement.
On most apps (Apple Books, Calibre, Thorium), you can choose a dyslexia-friendly font and increase the line spacing/justification. Additionally, a special dyslexia font is offered on our website: when you view or download a story in PDF, you have the option to activate it (and also increase the text size).

Cancel your subscription: At any time from your account space. Access remains active until the end of the current period.
