A joyful, wide-eyed 2-year-old girl with short brown hair, round rosy cheeks, wearing a pale pink dress with white polka dots, gently jumps in a small puddle making a "splash" with her yellow shoes while a smiling woman (mother, about 30) with chestnut hair in a ponytail, wearing a mint-green light coat, holds her hand and looks tenderly from the right; a small red ladybug with black spots rests on a green leaf near the girl's hand; the scene is a bright spring garden with soft green grass, small yellow and white flowers, a tree with green buds, a light blue sky with fluffy clouds and golden morning light, conveying a calm, joyful spring moment in pastel colors and smooth gradient-mesh textures. report a problem with this image

Mia wakes up. The sun is soft and warm. She smiles. “Good morning, Spring, she says. Mia's window is open. She hears birds sing. “Hello, birdies, Mia whispers.

Mia puts on her pink shoes. She goes outside with her mommy. The air is fresh. Mia feels the cool breeze touch her face. She giggles.

Mia sees a ladybug on a green leaf. It is small and red. “Hello, ladybug,” Mia says. The ladybug walks slowly. Mia's mommy says, “The ladybug likes the leaf.” Mia feels happy.

Mia's shoes press the soft grass. She hears the grass say, “Swish, swish,” under her feet. Mia bends down. She picks a yellow flower. It smells sweet. Mia closes her eyes and smiles. “Smell, Mommy,” Mia says. Mommy smells the flower. “So sweet,” she says.

A bee buzzes by. Mia watches the bee. The bee lands on a white flower. “The bee is busy,” says Mommy. Mia nods. Mia feels safe with Mommy.

Mia sees a puddle. She steps in. “Splash splash!” Mia laughs. Her shoes get a little wet. “It's okay,” says Mommy. “We can dry them.” Mia feels calm.

Mia looks up. She sees the blue sky. She feels the sun on her cheeks. It is warm. Mia holds Mommy's hand. They walk slow. Mia sees soft buds on the trees. “Look, new leaves,” Mia says. Mommy smiles.

Mia listens. She hears birds, bees, and the wind. Spring sounds soft and happy. Mia feels the world wake up. Mia hugs Mommy.

Spring is gentle. Spring is new. Mia feels happy and safe.

Every day has a little magic if you take time to look and listen.
