Lily loved spring. She woke up one sunny day and smiled. “Time to help!” she said.

In the garden, Mama was planting seeds. “Look, Lily! These are sunflower seeds,” Mama said. “They will grow tall and bright.”

Lily clapped her hands. “Can I help?”

“Yes, please!” Mama replied.

Lily dug small holes. She dropped seeds in. “One, two, three!” she counted.

Next, they watered the seeds. “Splash, splash!” said Lily, giggling.

At school, Lily learned about flowers. “Roses are red, daisies are white,” she sang.

Spring was fun! Lily loved the flowers. “Let's watch them grow!” she said with a happy heart.
