Lily is a little girl. She is two years old. One sunny day, Lily goes to the garden with her mommy.
“Look, Mommy! Flowers!” says Lily.
“Yes, Lily! It's spring!” Mommy smiles.
Lily sees red flowers. “Pretty red flowers!” she giggles.
Lily sees yellow flowers. “Sunny yellow flowers!” she laughs.
“Let's plant some seeds!” Mommy says.
Lily claps her hands. “Yes, seeds! Let's plant!”
Mommy gives Lily a little shovel. “Dig, Lily. Dig a hole.”
Lily digs and digs. “Dig, dig, dig!”
“Now, put the seed in,” Mommy says.
Lily puts the seed in the hole. “In the hole!” she cheers.
“Cover it with dirt,” Mommy says.
Lily covers it. “Cover, cover, cover!”
“Now we water the seed,” Mommy says.
Lily takes a little watering can. “Water, water, water!”
They water all the seeds.
“Look, Lily! The flowers will grow!” Mommy says.
Lily smiles big. “Flowers grow! Yay!”
Lily looks at the butterflies. “Fly, fly, fly!”
Lily listens to the birds. “Tweet, tweet, tweet!”
Spring is beautiful.
“Let's come back!” Lily says.
“Yes, we will!” Mommy hugs her.
Lily loves spring!
