Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Max. Max was four years old. He loved the spring! The sun was shining, and the flowers were blooming. "Look, Mommy! The flowers are waking up!" said Max with a big smile.

One sunny day, Max and his family went to their garden. "Let's plant some flowers!" said Daddy. Max clapped his hands. "Yes, yes! Flowers!"

They took out the seeds. "These are sunflower seeds," said Mommy. "They will grow tall and bright!" Max held the seeds in his tiny hands. "Sunflowers are my favorite!"

Max helped dig little holes in the ground. "Dig, dig, dig!" he sang. His puppy, Toby, wagged his tail. "Woof! Woof!" Toby loved to play in the garden too.

After digging, Max put the seeds in the holes. "In you go, little seeds!" he said. Then, he covered them with soil. "Now, we water them!" said Daddy. Max took the watering can. "Splash, splash! Grow, flowers, grow!"

Every day, Max and his family checked the garden. "Look, look! Little sprouts!" Max cheered. The green sprouts were coming up! "They are waking up just like me!" he giggled.

One day, the neighbor, Mrs. Green, came over. "Hello, Max! I see your flowers!" she said. "Would you like to help me at the spring fair?" Max's eyes sparkled. "Yes, please!"

At the fair, there were many flowers and plants. Max saw bright daisies and pretty tulips. "So many colors!" he exclaimed. He learned about each flower. "Flowers need sun and water," he told his friends.

At the end of the day, Max felt happy. "Spring is wonderful!" he said. His heart was full of joy. "Thank you, flowers! Thank you, spring!"

And every time the flowers bloomed, Max remembered his special day in the garden. Spring was a time for growing, learning, and having fun!
