Tom is one year old. He wakes up and smiles. He sits up in his crib—squeak, squeak! Tom looks for Bunny. Bunny is soft and brown. But Bunny is not in the crib.
Tom crawls—pat, pat—on the floor. He looks under his pillow. No Bunny. He looks in his toy box—clack, clack! No Bunny. Tom says, “Where is Bunny?” His puppy, Woof, wags his tail—swish, swish!
Tom finds his big sister Mia. Mia sits on a bright blue mat. She builds blocks—tap, tap! Tom asks, “See Bunny?” Mia shakes her head. Tom and Mia look together.
Tom and Mia peek under the chair. They see a sock. “Sock!” giggles Mia. Tom laughs—ha ha! But no Bunny. Woof barks—arf arf! He sniffs the rug—sniff, sniff!
Tom crawls to the play tent. The tent is red and yellow. Woof jumps—hop!—inside. Tom follows. He peeks—peekaboo!—inside. Something soft is there.
Tom pulls out a fluffy paw. It is Bunny! “Bunny!” Tom hugs Bunny tight. Mia claps—clap, clap! Woof wags his tail fast.
Mia says, “Good job, Tom!” Tom grins. Now Tom, Mia, Woof and Bunny sit together. Bunny is safe and happy.
Tom loves to look and find. Tom is a little detective. Solving little mysteries is fun with friends.
