A joyful 2-year-old boy with a round face, rosy cheeks, tousled blond hair and bright eyes leans to pick up a small shiny red ball hidden behind a round bush; his smiling, warm mother (about 30) with chestnut hair in a ponytail stands a few steps away with hands on her hips, watching proudly; a beige-and-brown striped tabby cat named Whiskers with long whiskers sits by the bush with its tail up as if indicating the ball; the sunny garden has a dense green lawn, yellow marguerites and pink tulips, scattered toys and soft late-afternoon light, and the scene shows the boy’s triumphant, joyful expression and playful movement with clear composition, vivid colors and a tender, playful mood. report a problem with this image

Once, in a cozy little house, there lived a happy boy named Max. One sunny day, Max had a mystery to solve. "Where is my red ball?" he wondered. The red ball was his favorite toy.

Max looked under the bed. "Peek-a-boo!" he said with a giggle. But no ball there.

Next, Max went to the toy box. "Rustle, rustle," he whispered, moving toys around. But no ball there.

Max scratched his head. "Hmm," he said, thinking. He walked to the kitchen and saw his cat, Whiskers. "Whiskers, have you seen my ball?" Max asked. Whiskers purred, "Meow," and walked to the garden door.

Max followed Whiskers outside. The grass was green and soft. "Hop, hop," he said, running on the grass. Then he heard a sound—"Rattle, rattle!"

Max looked behind the bush. There it was! His red ball! "Hooray!" Max cheered. "I found you!"

Just then, Mom came out. "What are you doing, Max?" she asked. "I found my red ball!" Max replied with a big smile.

"Good job, Max!" Mom said. "You are such a good detective."

Max patted Whiskers. "Thank you, Whiskers!" he said. Whiskers purred happily.

Max picked up his ball. "Let's play, Whiskers!" he laughed. And off they went, playing in the sunny garden, full of giggles and joy.

Always remember, when you look closely and think, you can solve little mysteries with a smile.
