The Autumn Festival

Lily was a little girl with big, curious eyes. One sunny morning, she went to school. Her teacher, Miss Rose, smiled and said, "Today, we will learn about autumn and its wonders!"

Lily giggled with her friends, Max and Ella. Miss Rose showed them a big picture of orange and red leaves. They all said, "Wow!"

Miss Rose asked, "What do you see, Lily?"

"Leaves," said Lily, "Colorful leaves!"

"Yes," Miss Rose nodded, "In autumn, leaves change color and fall from trees."

Lily clapped her hands. "I like autumn leaves!"

Max asked, "Why do leaves fall, Miss Rose?"

Miss Rose explained, "Trees go to sleep in winter, so leaves say goodbye."

Ella giggled, "Goodbye, leaves!"

The Autumn Projects

Miss Rose then said, "Now, we will do autumn projects. Let's make leaf crowns!" She gave them each some leaves and glue.

Lily glued her leaves carefully. She wore her crown and twirled. "Look, I'm an autumn princess!"

Max and Ella made crowns too. They laughed, "We are autumn kings!"

Miss Rose clapped her hands happily. "Wonderful crowns, everyone!"

After the crowns, Miss Rose said, "Let's talk about autumn fruits. What do you see here?" She showed them apples and pumpkins.

Lily shouted, "Red apples and big pumpkins!"

"Yes," Miss Rose smiled, "In autumn, apples and pumpkins are ready to pick. Can you smell them?"

Lily sniffed the air, "Mmm, they smell nice!"

The Autumn Festival

Then Miss Rose said, "Tomorrow is our Autumn Festival. We will dance and eat autumn treats."

Lily was excited. "I like dancing and treats!"

The next day, the whole school was colorful with autumn decorations. There were orange and brown streamers, and lanterns shaped like pumpkins.

Lily held Miss Rose's hand. "It's so pretty!"

Miss Rose chuckled, "Yes, Lily, it's autumn magic."

They danced with Max, Ella, and their friends. They twirled in their leaf crowns, laughing happily.

Then it was time for treats. There were apple slices and pumpkin cookies.

Lily took a bite, "Yummy!"

Max and Ella nodded, "We love autumn treats!"

Miss Rose said gently, "Autumn is a time to celebrate nature and its lovely changes."

Lily smiled, "I like autumn. It's fun and colorful!"

As the day ended, Lily hugged Miss Rose. "Thank you for the autumn festival."

Miss Rose whispered, "You're welcome, dear. Remember, every season is special."

Lily went home, holding her leaf crown. She felt happy and loved the autumn very much.
