Chapter 1: Little Wolf at School
Little Wolf woke up and stretched his soft, furry paws. The air outside was cool, and the leaves on the big trees were red, yellow, and orange. “It's autumn,” whispered Little Wolf, wagging his tail. He was excited. Today was a school day. Little Wolf loved school.
At school, Miss Owl greeted everyone with a kind smile. “Good morning, Little Wolf,” she said. “Good morning, Miss Owl,” Little Wolf replied. His best friend, Bunny, hopped close. “Look at the leaves, Little Wolf!” said Bunny. “They are so many colors!” Little Wolf nodded. “Red leaves, yellow leaves, orange leaves, brown leaves,” he said.
Miss Owl clapped her wings. “Today, we will learn about autumn,” she said. Little Wolf's ears perked up. “We will look at leaves, talk about the weather, and learn about autumn stories,” Miss Owl explained.
Chapter 2: Autumn Discoveries
The class went outside. The wind was gentle. Leaves crunched under Little Wolf's paws. He picked up a bright red leaf. “Look, Bunny! This leaf is like fire!” Bunny picked a yellow one. “This one is like the sun!” Little Wolf and Bunny laughed.
Miss Owl showed them how the wind made the leaves dance. “The wind is soft. The leaves are light. In autumn, leaves fall down,” she said. Little Wolf caught a leaf in the air. “Catch the leaf, Bunny!” he giggled. They laughed together. The world felt warm and happy.
Back in class, Miss Owl told a story. “Long ago, animals believed that autumn leaves were magic. They thought the colors brought happy dreams.” Little Wolf listened carefully. “Are leaves magic?” he asked. Miss Owl smiled. “They are special. Leaves change to tell us that the season is changing. It is nature's way to get ready for winter.”
Little Wolf thought about the story. He looked at his red leaf and smiled. “My leaf is special,” he said.
Chapter 3: Autumn Projects and Warm Feelings
In the classroom, Miss Owl gave everyone a big piece of paper. “Let's make autumn pictures! Use your leaves and crayons. Draw what you see in autumn.” Little Wolf put his red leaf on the paper. He drew a big tree with many colors. Bunny drew a sun and lots of falling leaves.
Miss Owl walked around. “Wonderful pictures, Little Wolf. Wonderful pictures, Bunny,” she said. Little Wolf felt happy and proud. He loved learning about autumn.
At the end of the day, Miss Owl talked to the class. “Autumn is a beautiful time. The leaves change colors, the air feels cool, and we can play in the leaves. Every season is special. Autumn reminds us to look, listen, and enjoy the world around us.”
Little Wolf held his picture. “Look, Bunny! My tree is big and red!” Bunny smiled. “My picture has many leaves!” Both friends giggled.
Little Wolf walked home with his picture. The air was cool, but his heart felt warm. He thought about the magic of autumn leaves and the stories Miss Owl had told. Autumn was full of color, fun, and gentle surprises.
That night, Little Wolf put his red leaf under his pillow. “Good night, autumn,” he whispered. “Thank you for your colors and your stories.” And he fell asleep, dreaming of leaves that danced and trees that glowed bright in the autumn sun.
