Chapter 1: Little Wolf Sees the Leaves
Little Wolf woke up one chilly morning. He looked outside his window and saw the trees were changing. The green leaves were now red, orange, and yellow. “Mama, look!” said Little Wolf. “The trees are wearing new colors!”
Mama Wolf smiled. She wrapped Little Wolf in a warm scarf. “Yes, Little Wolf. It is autumn. The leaves change colors and fall to the ground. It is a special time.”
Little Wolf wanted to go outside. “Can I play in the leaves, Mama?” he asked.
Mama Wolf nodded. “Yes, let's go together.”
They went outside. The ground was covered in soft, crunchy leaves. Little Wolf jumped into a big pile. The leaves made a funny sound. “Crunch, crunch!” laughed Little Wolf. “Crunch, crunch!” Mama laughed too.
The air smelled fresh and cool. Little Wolf saw apples on the trees and pumpkins in the garden. He picked up a red leaf and looked at it closely. “Why do the leaves fall, Mama?” he asked.
Mama Wolf sat beside him. “In autumn, the trees let go of their old leaves. They rest and get ready for winter. The leaves make a soft bed for the ground.”
Little Wolf thought this was wonderful. He liked the sound of “crunch, crunch.” He liked the colors. “Autumn is magic,” he said.
Chapter 2: The Autumn Festival
One day, Little Wolf heard happy music in the village. He saw lanterns and bright decorations. “Mama, what is happening?” he asked.
“It is the Autumn Festival,” said Mama Wolf. “We celebrate the season with stories, songs, and yummy food.”
Little Wolf held Mama's paw. Together, they walked to the village square. There were other animals too. Everyone was wearing scarves and hats. The air was full of laughter and the smell of baked apples.
Old Owl stood on a big log. “Today, I will tell an autumn story,” said Old Owl.
Little Wolf listened closely. Old Owl spoke in a gentle voice. “Long ago, animals waited for the trees to change. When the leaves fell, it was time to gather together, share food, and tell stories. It was a time for friends and family.”
Little Wolf liked this story. He held Mama's paw tight. He felt warm and happy.
After the story, everyone shared food. There were apples, nuts, and warm pumpkin soup. Little Wolf tasted the soup. “Mmm, it is sweet and warm!” he said.
Mama Wolf smiled. “Autumn brings us many good things. Colorful leaves, yummy food, and time together.”
Chapter 3: Little Wolf's Autumn Wish
When the festival was over, Little Wolf walked home with Mama. The sky was pink and gold. Leaves danced in the wind.
“Mama, I love autumn,” said Little Wolf. “I love the colors, the stories, and the food.”
Mama Wolf hugged him. “Autumn is a beautiful season. It teaches us to enjoy the simple things. We watch the leaves, share stories, and help each other.”
Little Wolf smiled. He picked up a golden leaf and held it close. “I want every autumn to be special, Mama.”
Mama Wolf kissed his nose. “Every autumn can be special when we share it together.”
Little Wolf felt safe and happy. He knew that autumn was not just about leaves and colors. It was about love, stories, and being together.
And as the stars came out, Little Wolf and Mama Wolf went inside, cozy and warm, ready for sweet dreams of autumn.
