Chapter 1: Benny's Autumn Walk
Benny is a little brown bear. He lives in a small cozy house at the edge of the forest. The leaves are turning red, orange, and yellow. When Benny wakes up, he looks out his window and smiles.
“Look, Mama!” Benny says. “The trees are wearing their autumn colors!”
Mama Bear gives Benny a big, warm hug. “Yes, Benny. It is autumn now. The air is cool and crisp. The leaves are falling. Would you like to go for a walk and see what autumn has brought us?”
“Yes, please!” says Benny.
Benny puts on his soft red scarf. Mama Bear takes his paw. Together, they walk into the forest. The wind is gentle and the sun is soft. Leaves crunch under Benny's feet. Crunch, crunch, crunch.
Benny sees a squirrel gathering acorns. “Hello, Squirrel!” says Benny.
“Hello, Benny!” says Squirrel. “I am getting ready for winter. Acorns are my favorite treat!”
Benny smiles. He looks at the trees. Some trees are bright yellow. Some are orange. Some are red. “Autumn is so beautiful,” whispers Benny.
Chapter 2: The Autumn Art Project
As Benny walks, he finds a big, red leaf on the ground. It is shiny and smooth. He picks it up. “Mama, look at my leaf! It is so bright!”
Mama Bear nods. “It is beautiful, Benny. Autumn leaves are special.”
Benny finds an orange leaf, a yellow leaf, and a brown leaf too. Each one is different. Some are big. Some are little. Some are round. Some are pointy.
Benny thinks and thinks. He has an idea. “Mama, can we make art with these leaves?”
Mama Bear smiles. “What a wonderful idea, Benny! Let us collect more leaves and make something beautiful.”
Benny and Mama Bear look for more leaves. They find smooth ones and crinkly ones. They find tiny berries and soft moss. Benny collects pinecones. He feels the rough bumps with his paws.
“I like how this pinecone feels!” says Benny.
“I like the smell of these leaves,” says Mama Bear. She takes a deep breath. Benny does too.
“Autumn smells so nice,” says Benny. He feels happy and calm.
Chapter 3: A Beautiful Autumn Picture
Back at home, Benny sets out his treasures. He has red, orange, yellow, and brown leaves. He has pinecones and berries. Mama Bear helps him get some paper and glue.
Benny puts a big yellow leaf in the middle. He adds red and orange leaves all around. He glues a pinecone at the bottom. He adds berries on the side.
Mama Bear says, “Your art is full of autumn's colors, Benny.”
Benny smiles. “I love making art with leaves. I like sharing with you, Mama.”
Mama Bear hugs Benny. “You saw the colors of autumn. You touched the leaves and pinecones. You smelled the fresh air. You made a beautiful picture. Autumn is full of magic.”
Benny nods. “Autumn is my favorite. I learned so many things. I love the crunchy leaves and the pretty colors.”
Mama Bear hangs Benny's art on the wall. “Every season has something special. Autumn shows us how things can change and become new and beautiful.”
Benny feels warm and happy inside. He looks at his autumn picture every day. He remembers the walk in the forest, the crunchy leaves, the colorful trees, and Mama's hug.
Benny knows that every season brings new things to see, touch, and love. And with Mama by his side, every day feels magical.
