Four small girls play in the room. Mia, Zoe, Ana, and Bea are near the rug. They laugh. "Hop!" says Mia. They clap. Toc-toc on the door. The girls look. A toy is lost. It is a soft bear. The bear is warm and small.
"Where is bear?" asks Zoe. They look. They look at the box. They look in the bed. They look by the chair. They find one clue. A tiny sock. A tiny sock is near the box. "Plouf!" says Ana as she sits. The girls smile.
They make a plan. Mia points. Zoe nods. Ana counts. Bea pats her head. They follow the sock. They crawl on the floor. They see a trail. Small dots of fluff. The fluff is on the rug. The fluff is on the mat. The trail goes to the big bag.
"Stop," says Bea. They listen. They hear a soft sound. "Mmm." The sound is from the bag. The girls lift the bag. They find the bear. The bear is snug with clean clothes. The bear is safe.
They hug the bear. "Yay!" they sing. They clap. They hop in a small spin. They put the bear in the box. They put the sock with the bear. They wash the sock. They put the bear near the bed for nap.
At snack time, they tell mom. Mom smiles. Mom says, "Good job, little team." The girls smile and sip juice. All is calm and warm.
A small team can find small things with care and kind eyes.
