Lily is a happy girl. She loves her teddy bear. But today, oh dear, Teddy is missing! Lily looks around. She says, "Where is Teddy?" She hears a soft "meow" from the cat, Fluffy. Fluffy is on the couch. Lily giggles and says, "Hello, Fluffy!"

Lily checks under the table. No Teddy. "Hmm," she thinks. Then, she hears, "Woof!" It's Buddy the dog. Buddy wags his tail. "Did you see Teddy, Buddy?" asks Lily. Buddy looks under the chair. Lily peeks too. "No Teddy here," she says.

Lily walks to the toy box. "Teddy, are you here?" She opens the box. She sees blocks, cars, and dolls. But no Teddy. "Oh, where is Teddy?" she wonders.

Lily sits down, thinking. Suddenly, she hears a gentle "hop, hop." It's her friend, Bunny. "Bunny!" she says, "Do you know where Teddy is?" Bunny hops to the blanket. Lily follows. She lifts the blanket. "Teddy!" she cheers. There is Teddy, safe and sound.

Lily hugs Teddy tight. "Thank you, Bunny," she says. Bunny wiggles his nose. Fluffy jumps on the couch. Buddy wags his tail. Everyone is happy.

Lily smiles. "We found Teddy! Thank you, everyone!" she giggles. She holds Teddy close. The sun shines in the room. It's a happy day.

Together, Lily, Teddy, and friends play. They laugh and have fun. Everything is bright and cheerful. It's always better when friends help each other.
