Little Jack is a pirate. He has a blue hat. He has a big smile. Little Jack lives on a boat. His boat rocks on the sea. Rock, rock, rock. The sea is big and blue. The wind goes whoosh, whoosh.

Jack has a flag. The flag is red and gold. The flag flaps in the wind. Flap, flap, flap. Jack loves his flag. He keeps it safe.

One day, Jack finds a map. The map is old. The map is brown. The map says, “Treasure!” Jack feels brave. He says, “I want to find the treasure!” Jack holds his flag. He is ready.

The boat sails. The water splashes. Splash, splash, splash. The sky is bright. The sun is warm. Jack smiles. He looks at the map. He sings a song.

Suddenly, the clouds come. The wind gets strong. The waves go up and down. Up and down, up and down. Jack holds the flag tight. He says, “Be brave, be smart, be strong!” The storm comes. The rain falls. Drip, drip, drip. The boat rocks. Rock, rock, rock.

Jack thinks. He looks at the map. He says, “Go left, not right.” Jack is smart. The boat goes left. The clouds go away. The sun comes back. Jack laughs. Ha, ha, ha!

Jack sees an island. The island is small. The island has trees. Jack jumps off the boat. Jump, jump, jump. He runs on the sand. He digs and digs. Dig, dig, dig. He finds a box. The box is old. The box is heavy.

Jack opens the box. Inside, there is gold. There are shiny stones. There is a little bell. Ding, ding, ding! Jack puts his flag on the box. He smiles. He did it. He was brave. He was smart. He was strong.

Jack looks at the sea. The sun is low. The sky is pink. The boat is ready. Jack waves goodbye to the island. The boat sails to a new place. Rock, rock, rock, on the blue sea.

It is good to be brave and careful, and to take care of what is important.
