Tom is a young pirate. He wears a bright red hat. Tom sails on a little boat. His best friend, a blue parrot, sits on his shoulder. “Let's find a shiny shell!” says Tom. The boat moves on the gentle sea. The sun is warm. The wind sings.
Tom sees a tiny island. “Look, Parrot!” Tom says. They laugh. The island is small and round. Tom jumps down. His feet land on soft sand. Parrot hops too. Tom looks left. Tom looks right. “Where is the shell?” Tom asks.
He sees some rocks. Tom walks to them. A crab waves hello. “Hello, Crab!” Tom says. Crab points to a shell. It is big and pink. Tom smiles. “Thank you, Crab!” Tom says. Tom picks up the shell. It feels smooth.
Tom hears a splash. Parrot is in the little water pool. “Splash, splash!” laughs Parrot. Tom giggles. He helps Parrot step out. Tom and Parrot sit together. They listen to the sea. The shell glows in the sun.
Tom and Parrot sail home. The boat rocks softly. Tom hugs his shell. He feels happy and brave.
It is good to share, to help friends, and to smile, even on a little adventure.
