A young pirate woman, Captain Mina, smiling and determined, stands on the deck of her small pirate ship. She has messy brown hair, a red scarf around her head, and a blue vest. Her eyes shine with excitement as she holds a treasure map in her hands. Next to her, Tom, an 8-year-old boy with blonde hair and round glasses, curiously looks at the map. He wears a striped t-shirt and denim shorts. Lila, a 7-year-old girl with curly hair in a colorful dress, joyfully claps, standing at the side of the boat. Pip, a small puppy with large ears, runs around them, tongue out and tail wagging. The boat sails on a calm, bright blue sea under a sunny sky with a few fluffy white clouds. In the background, a bun-shaped island looms with lush palm trees and a sun-shaped rock. The main scene shows Captain Mina and her crew discovering a treasure map, ready for a new adventure, with smiles on their faces and splashes of water around them. report a problem with this image

Captain Mina is a young woman. She is kind. She is brave. She is smart. She sails a small pirate ship. The flag has a big smile. Her friends sail too. Tom waves. Lila claps. Pip the pup wags.

Mina finds a map in a jar. The map shows a sun rock, a tall palm, and a red shell. “An adventure,” said Mina. “We go and we share.”

They push off. The sea is blue and soft. “Yo-ho!” sang the crew. The wind is shy. The ship moves slow. Mina thinks. She looks at the sail. She has an idea. “A helper sail,” she said. Tom ties a shirt to a stick. Lila holds the rope. The little sail helps. The ship slides along. Pip barks with joy.

A big wave gives a splash. Everyone gets wet. They laugh. “We are safe,” said Mina. She pats Pip. Pip shakes. Shake-shake! The crew giggles.

They see a long rope in a tight knot. The rope will lift the anchor. Mina sits. She takes a slow breath. She works with calm hands. She tries. She tries again. The knot gets loose. It opens. “Well done,” said Tom. “You kept trying!” Mina smiles.

At last they see a round island. It looks like a bun. They see the sun rock. They see the tall palm. They find a red shell. “The X is near,” said Lila. They look. There, in sand, a small X. They dig with small scoops. They find a box. The box is stuck in the sand. “We pull as one,” said Mina. “One, two, heave-ho!” They pull. It moves a bit. They rest. They try again. It comes free. Cheer!

Inside is a bell, bright shells, soft beads, and a kind note: Share and sing. Mina rings the bell. They share the shells. They sing as they sail home. The sun is warm. They feel happy.

Together with friends, be brave, be smart, and keep trying.
