Once upon a time, there was a little wolf named Wally. Wally loved to play during the day. He ran in the green grass and chased the butterflies. But when the sun went down, Wally felt scared.

"Oh no! It's dark!" he said. Wally hid under his bed.

One day, Wally's friends gathered. They were all little animals. "Wally, why are you so scared?" asked Benny the bunny.

"It's dark! I don't like the dark!" Wally cried.

"Let's have a fun game!" said Sally the squirrel. "We can explore the dark together!"

Wally peeked out. "Explore? In the dark?" he wondered.

"Yes! The dark can be fun! Look!" Benny said while pointing to the twinkling stars.

Wally took a deep breath. "Okay, I will try."

They all went outside. The moon shined bright. Wally saw the shadows dance. "Wow! Look at the shapes!" he said.

"Yes! The dark is not scary. It's magical!" Sally said.

Wally smiled. "I feel brave now!"

They played and laughed under the stars. Wally learned that the dark can be beautiful.

When it was time for bed, Wally was not scared anymore. "Goodnight, friends!" he said happily.

Wally closed his eyes, dreaming of the magical night. The dark was his friend.
