Part 1: The Plan

Lila and Mia were two giggly friends. Today was special because it was New Year's Eve. In their cozy living room, they were planning something fun. "Let's have a Wishes Karaoke!" said Lila, clapping her hands with excitement.

Mia nodded, her eyes wide with joy. "Yes, and everyone can sing their wishes for the new year!" she said.

They both began gathering their toys, arranging them as the audience. There was Teddy the bear, Floppy the rabbit, and even Mr. Duck. Everyone was ready for the show.

"We'll need a pretend microphone," Lila said, looking around. She found a shiny spoon on the table. "Perfect!" she giggled.

The room felt warm and bright. The twinkling lights on the small tree in the corner made everyone smile.

Part 2: Singing Wishes

Lila stood up first, holding the spoon like a real microphone. "I wish for more playtime outside!" she sang loudly, twirling around. Mia clapped her hands, her laughter echoing around the room.

Now it was Mia's turn. She took the spoon and sang, "I wish for lots of yummy cookies to share!" Her voice was soft and sweet, making Lila grin from ear to ear.

Teddy, Floppy, and Mr. Duck watched quietly, their eyes full of delight. "Now it's your turn, toys!" said Mia, putting the spoon in front of Teddy.

Lila and Mia giggled as they imagined Teddy singing, "I wish for big bear hugs!"

Floppy wished for "a soft bed," and Mr. Duck quacked about "lots of bubbles in the bath."

Part 3: A Happy New Year

When all the wishes were sung, Lila and Mia sat down, feeling happy and calm. "This is the best way to welcome the new year," said Lila, hugging Mia tightly.

Mia nodded, smiling at their toy friends. "Yes, and now we wait for midnight," she said softly.

As the clock ticked closer to the new year, the girls snuggled under a warm blanket. The room was peaceful, filled with the gentle glow of the lights.

Soon, the clock struck midnight. The girls whispered, "Happy New Year," and hugged each other again, knowing their wishes would bring joy and magic in the days to come.
