Bunny hops. Bunny sees hat. Big hat on a mat. Little Bunny runs. Big Bunny runs too. "Mine!" says Little Bunny. "Mine!" says Big Bunny. They tug. Tug, tug. Plop! The hat falls. Oh no. The hat is on a puddle. "Splash!" says the hat. They both look. They both smile.

Bunny wipes the hat. Big Bunny pats the hat. Little Bunny pats the hat. "Soft," says Little Bunny. "Soft," says Big Bunny. They try the hat. Big Bunny puts it on. It is too big. Little Bunny puts it on. It swamps her ears. They laugh. Ha ha. Hee hee. "Try my hat!" says Big Bunny. "Try my hat!" says Little Bunny. They swap. They hop. They spin. "Boing!" goes Bunny. "Whee!" goes Bunny.

They build a small fort with the hat and a box. The fort is funny. A leaf falls. "Plink!" The leaf tickles. They giggle. The sun peeks out. Mom Rabbit comes. "Snack time," she says. Bunny and Bunny hold hands. They walk to snack. They carry the hat together. They laugh all the way.

Play can be silly. Play can be kind.
