Lily was a little girl. She loved the day. The sun was bright. The sky was blue. But when night came, Lily felt scared.

“Lily, it's okay,” said her teddy bear. “Let's play a game!”

Lily smiled. “What game?”

“Let's count the stars!” said Teddy.

Lily looked out. “One, two, three!”

The stars twinkled. They were bright.

“Now take a deep breath,” said Teddy. “In and out.”

Lily took a breath. “In, out.”

She felt better. “I'm not scared anymore!”

“Good job, Lily!” said Teddy.

Lily hugged her teddy.

“Nighttime can be fun!” she said.

And with that, Lily drifted off to sleep, dreaming of stars and games.
