One bright morning, Timmy the toddler heard a funny sound. "Hello, Timmy!" said a squeaky voice. Timmy looked around. "Who said that?" he asked. It was Spotty, his friendly dog! Spotty wagged his tail. "I can talk now!" he barked with a giggle.
Timmy's eyes went wide. "Wow, Spotty! What can we do?" Spotty had a plan. "Let's play hide and seek!" he suggested. Timmy clapped his hands. "Okay, Spotty! You hide first!"
Spotty hid behind a big, fluffy pillow. Timmy giggled. "I see you, Spotty!" he called. Spotty jumped out, wagging his tail. "Your turn, Timmy!" Spotty barked.
Timmy hid under the table, but his tiny toes peeked out. Spotty sniffed around. "Found you, Timmy!" Spotty laughed. Timmy laughed too.
Then Spotty had an idea. "Let's pretend to be pirates!" he said. Timmy nodded excitedly. "Arrr, matey!" they both shouted, wearing hats made of socks.
As the sun set, Timmy yawned. "Time for bed, Spotty," he said. Spotty snuggled close. "Goodnight, Timmy," he whispered. Timmy smiled, feeling happy and sleepy.
And so, Timmy and Spotty dreamed of more silly adventures, with giggles and smiles all night long.
