Fuzzy the fox had a silly idea. “I will play a trick!” said Fuzzy, his tail wiggling. Fuzzy tip-toed to the pond. Rabbit was there, munching on a carrot.
“Hello, Rabbit!” said Fuzzy. “Look! You have a carrot on your head!”
Rabbit touched his head. “Oh! Where?” giggled Rabbit.
Fuzzy laughed. “No carrot! Just a funny fox joke!”
Rabbit wiggled his ears. “Silly Fuzzy!”
Next, Fuzzy found Hedgehog under a tree. “Hello, Hedgehog!” said Fuzzy. “Your nose is blue!”
Hedgehog looked at his nose. “Blue? Oh my!” said Hedgehog. He sniffed and giggled. “No blue! Just Fuzzy being funny!”
Fuzzy giggled too. “Tricky fox!”
Then Fuzzy saw Bear, fast asleep. Fuzzy put a leaf on Bear's nose. “Look! Bear has a leafy nose!” whispered Fuzzy.
Bear woke up, snorted, and the leaf flew up! “Achoo!” Bear sneezed. Fuzzy and Bear laughed and laughed.
Fuzzy's friends said, “You are a funny fox!”
Fuzzy smiled. He gave everyone a hug. “Goodnight, Rabbit! Goodnight, Hedgehog! Goodnight, Bear!”
Fuzzy curled up in his soft den. “Tomorrow, more fun!” he whispered, closing his eyes. And everybody, even the funny fox, drifted off to happy dreams.
