Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Sam. Sam was at school with his friends, Mia and Ben. "Today, we learn about the dark," said Miss Lily with a smile.

Sam frowned. "The dark is scary," he whispered.

Miss Lily nodded. "We can learn to like it," she said gently. "Let's play a game!"

The lights went off. "See the stars?" asked Miss Lily, pointing to the ceiling where glowing stars twinkled.

"Wow!" said Mia. "Stars are pretty!"

Miss Lily gave everyone a flashlight. "Look around," she said. "What can you see?"

Sam shined his light on a teddy bear. "Hello, Teddy!" he giggled. Ben found a book. Mia found a toy car. "Look, friends!" she laughed.

"The dark is not so scary," Sam said with a grin.

Miss Lily clapped. "Now, let's make shadow puppets!" she said. They all made animals with their hands. "I see a bunny!" said Ben, giggling.

Mia made a dog. "Woof, woof!" she barked.

Sam made a butterfly. "Flap, flap!" he said.

"The dark is fun," Sam said, feeling brave.

Miss Lily smiled. "The dark can be nice," she said.

At home, Sam told his teddy, "The dark isn't so scary. We can see stars and play games."

That night, Sam turned off the light. "Goodnight, Teddy," he whispered.

Sam cuddled in bed, feeling safe. He knew the dark was his friend. With a yawn and a cozy hug, he closed his eyes and dreamed of stars twinkling above.
