Little Max loved autumn. The trees turned bright orange and yellow. The leaves fell down, swirling in the wind. Max clapped his hands. “Look at the leaves!” he giggled.
One sunny morning, Max went to school. His teacher, Miss Lily, had a big smile. “Today is our autumn party!” she said. Max's friends cheered, “Yay!”
In the classroom, there were pumpkins everywhere! Big ones, small ones, and even some funny-looking ones. “What color is this pumpkin?” Miss Lily asked. “Orange!” shouted Max and his friends. “Good job!” said Miss Lily.
Max felt happy. He loved the pumpkins. “Can we paint them?” he asked. “Yes!” Miss Lily smiled. They all got brushes and paint. Max chose bright red. He painted his pumpkin with big, happy swirls. “Look at my pumpkin!” he laughed.
After painting, they went outside. The air was cool. Max felt the breeze on his cheeks. “It's nice!” he said. Miss Lily pointed to a big tree. “What do we see?” she asked. “Leaves!” Max shouted. They were all colors: red, yellow, and brown.
“Let's collect them!” said Miss Lily. Max picked up a shiny red leaf. “This one is pretty!” he said. His friend, Lily, found a golden one. “Look!” she said.
Later, they sat in a circle. Miss Lily told a story about autumn. “Autumn is a time for thankfulness,” she said. Max listened closely.
At the end of the day, Max felt warm inside. “I love autumn!” he said, smiling. Miss Lily nodded, “Autumn is special, just like you!” Max beamed.
As he went home, he saw the sunset. The sky was pink and orange. “Goodbye, autumn!” he waved. Max knew tomorrow would bring more fun.
