Milo sees a red apple on the grass. "Look, an apple!" says Milo. Milo picks up the apple. "Round and shiny," says Milo.

Milo hears birds singing. Chirp, chirp. "Hello, Birds," says Milo. "You are singing today." "We love to sing in autumn," say the Birds.

Milo walks by the pond. Ducks swim. "Hello, Ducks," says Milo. "Quack, quack," say the Ducks. "We swim in the cool water."

Milo finds a yellow leaf. Milo picks it up. "Soft and pretty," says Milo. Milo puts the leaf in his bag.

Milo sees children playing. "Let's jump in the leaves," says Milo. Jump, jump! The children and Milo laugh.

The air feels cool. Milo wears a warm scarf. The wind blows gently. "Autumn is nice," says Milo. "So many colors. So many animals and plants. So many things to see."

Milo goes home. Milo smiles. "Thank you, autumn," says Milo. "You make the world bright and fun."
