In a sunny garden, on a bright and happy day, there was a little girl named Lily. Lily was turning one, and today was her birthday! She wore a big, bright hat and a shiny, blue dress. Her eyes sparkled like tiny stars.
“Happy birthday, Lily!” chirped her friend, Daisy, who was also one year old. Daisy wore a pink dress with little bows. Together, they giggled and clapped their hands.
Lily and Daisy were in the garden, a magical place with green grass, colorful flowers, and tall, swaying trees. The sun was warm and the sky was blue. It was a perfect day for a birthday.
Lily saw a butterfly. “Look, Daisy!” she said, pointing. The butterfly was yellow and flew in little loops. “Fly, fly, butterfly!”
Daisy clapped. “Butterfly, fly!” she echoed, smiling wide.
Then, they heard a funny sound. “Quack, quack!” It was a duck waddling by the pond. The duck had soft, white feathers and a bright orange beak.
“Hello, Duck!” said Lily, waving her tiny hand.
“Quack, quack!” replied the duck, as if to say, “Happy birthday, Lily!”
Lily and Daisy laughed. The duck was funny!
Nearby, there was a big, red ball. Lily and Daisy rolled the ball back and forth. “Roll, roll!” they said together. The ball bounced and rolled, and they giggled with glee.
Then, it was time for a special treat. A small cake with one big candle appeared. Lily's mom lit the candle. “Make a wish, Lily,” she said softly.
Lily closed her eyes, thought of happy things, and blew out the candle. “Whoosh!”
“Yay!” cheered Daisy. “Happy birthday, Lily!”
Lily felt loved and happy. Even in the garden, away from home, her birthday was special. There were smiles, giggles, and friends. The day was filled with sunshine and joy.
“Thank you, Daisy,” said Lily, giving her a gentle hug.
“Friends!” Daisy said, hugging back.
The sun began to set, painting the sky with colors. Lily and Daisy watched, feeling warm and sleepy. It was a day full of fun, friendship, and surprises.
And as the stars twinkled above, Lily knew this was the best birthday ever.
