Today was Lily's birthday. She woke up with a big smile. "Happy birthday, Lily!" said her teddy bear, Fluffy. Lily giggled and hugged Fluffy tight.

In the kitchen, Mommy and Daddy were busy. "We are making a cake!" said Daddy. Lily clapped her hands. "Cake, cake!" she cheered. Mommy gave Lily a little spoon. "You can help," she said. Lily was very happy. She stirred the bowl with tiny swirls. Flour puffed up, and they all laughed.

Lily went to the living room. There were colorful balloons everywhere. "Wow!" said Lily. She loved the red balloon the most. It bounced and bounced. "Boing, boing!" giggled Lily.

Daddy brought out a box. "What's this?" asked Lily. "It's a surprise!" he said. Inside was a shiny party hat. Lily put it on. "I am a birthday princess!" she laughed.

Soon, the doorbell rang. "Ding dong!" Lily's friends were here. "Hello, friends!" Lily waved. They all wore hats too. There was music and dancing. Lily twirled like a little ballerina.

Mommy brought the cake with candles. "One, two!" counted Lily. Everyone sang, "Happy birthday to you!" Lily took a deep breath and blew out the candles. "Yay!" cheered her friends. She made a wish, a happy, secret wish.

After cake, it was time for presents. "Open mine first!" said her friend Max. Inside was a soft, cuddly bunny. "Bunny!" Lily hugged it close. Each gift was special and made Lily smile.

The sun began to set, painting the sky pink and orange. "Time for a story," said Mommy. Lily snuggled close with Fluffy and Bunny. Daddy read a story about a brave little bear. Lily's eyes grew sleepy.

As she drifted off, she thought about her fun day. Her heart was full of joy and love from everyone.
