Four children: Mia (2), a short brown-haired girl with a pink ribbon, standing center in front of a low table blowing out two candles on a small round cake; Sam (3), a tousled blond boy left of the table holding a small spoon and smiling at the cake; Leo (2), a light-skinned black-haired boy to the right, hopping on tiptoe with arms raised in joy; Ana (2), a curly light-brown–haired girl seated behind the table holding a teddy and clapping. The scene is a warm, bright living room with cream walls, blue/pink/yellow paper bunting, a low wooden table with a polka-dot cloth, a yellow paper lantern on a shelf and pastel balloons near the ceiling. Main moment: birthday cake—Mia blows the two candles while the others sing and applaud, a small confetti pop is about to burst; joyful atmosphere, soft colors, rounded shapes, happy expressions and simple gestures. report a problem with this image

Mia wakes up and smiles. Today is a big day. She is two. Her friends come in. Sam, Leo, Ana. One friend smiles from a little chair. They all clap. "Happy day!" they sing. Clap clap. Toc-toc goes the door.

They wear bright hats. Boop, boop. Mia says, "Cake!" Leo hops. "Hop!" Sam taps the table. Ana rolls a toy car. Plouf! A balloon falls in a bowl. Giggle, giggle.

They bake a small cake. Mia pours. Sam stirs. Leo counts lumps. "One, two!" Ana pats the bowl. The oven is warm. Beep beep. They wait. They hum a soft song. Hum hum. The cake smells sweet. Yum.

They make flags from paper. Cut, fold. "Cut," says Mia. "Glue," says Ana. Stick stick. The flags are blue and pink and yellow. They hang them high. Tap tap. The room looks like a sky of color.

Next they make a surprise box. They put small toys inside. A soft bear, a shiny car, a sticker. "Shh," says Sam. They hide the box under a blanket. Tip-tip. The friend in the chair helps push the blanket with a small hand. All help. All smiles.

Outside they light a little lamp. It glows warm. The lamp makes a tiny garden of light. It is safe and bright. The children dance slow. Spin spin. They sing, "Happy, happy!" Their songs sound like bells. Ding ding.

The cake is done. Mia blows. Wind wind. "Make a wish," says Ana. Mia whispers and smiles. She cuts a small slice and shares. "Here," she says. "Yum." They eat with small spoons. Mmmmm. No one is left out.

They open the surprise box. Cheer! A confetti pop goes "pop!" Tiny paper stars fall. The lamp shines on the stars. The friends laugh. They hug. Soft hugs. The day is warm and calm. Night comes gently. They put away toys and yawn.

Celebrate with care. Everyone helps, and joy grows when we share.
