Sunny wakes up with a giggle. Today is birthday day! Max, his friend, rolls in and waves. “Happy birthday, Sunny!” says Max with a big, bright smile.
Sunny claps his hands. Balloons bounce in the air. The room smells sweet, just like cake. Max gives Sunny a shiny red hat. “Surprise! For you,” says Max. Sunny wears it and laughs.
“Let's get ready!” says Sunny. They pick colorful streamers and tape them on the walls. They line up toy animals on the table. Max puts a small bear in the middle. “The bear is the boss,” he says. Sunny laughs again.
Soon, it is time for games. Max and Sunny clap and spin. They play rolling ball, rolling it back and forth, fast and slow. The ball zooms under the table. “Where did it go?” asks Max. “Found it!” says Sunny, turning around to reach the ball.
Music starts. Max and Sunny dance with their arms in the air. The animals wobble as if they are dancing too. “Look, the giraffe is happy!” says Sunny. Max nods and wiggles his fingers.
Suddenly, someone knocks. It is Mom with a plate full of cupcakes, all different colors. “Oh, wow!” says Max. Sunny picks a blue cupcake. They both taste. Sweet and soft!
Sunny and Max blow out a tiny candle together. They smile at each other and share a big, happy hug.
It feels so nice to make a party together.
