Bunny wakes up. Today is a big day. Bunny feels happy and bouncy. Bunny's ears wiggle. Bunny's nose twitches. It is Bunny's birthday!

Bunny hops out of bed. Bunny sees the sun. “Hello, Sun!” says Bunny. The sun smiles back. Bunny feels warm.

Bunny goes to the kitchen. Mommy Rabbit is there. She hugs Bunny. “Happy birthday, Bunny!” says Mommy Rabbit. Bunny laughs. Bunny smells something sweet. Pancakes! Bunny claps. Bunny eats pancakes with honey. “Yum yum,” says Bunny.

Bunny hears a tap at the door. It is Mouse. Mouse has a red balloon. “Happy birthday, Bunny!” says Mouse. Bunny hugs Mouse. Bunny smiles.

Squirrel comes next. Squirrel brings a bright yellow flower. “Happy birthday, Bunny!” says Squirrel. Bunny hugs Squirrel. Bunny giggles.

Duck waddles in. Duck has a little hat. “Happy birthday, Bunny!” says Duck. Bunny claps. Everyone wears hats. The hats are funny. Bunny laughs and laughs.

The friends play with the balloon. The balloon goes up, up, up! Oops! The balloon floats to the ceiling. Bunny looks up. “Balloon, come down!” says Bunny.

Mommy Rabbit lifts Bunny up high. Bunny grabs the balloon. “Thank you, Mommy!” says Bunny. Everyone cheers.

Now it is time for cake. Bunny blows out the candles. Everyone sings. Bunny feels loved and happy. Bunny hugs everyone. Bunny whispers, “Best day!”
