Lily was a happy little girl. Today was her birthday! She clapped her tiny hands. “Yay! Birthday!” she giggled.
Lily wanted to have a special party. “I will make a cake!” she said. She looked around her sunny garden. It was filled with colorful flowers and buzzing bees. “I need help!” she thought.
Lily called her friend, Bunny. “Bunny! Come help me!” Bunny hopped over with a big smile. “What do we do?” asked Bunny. “We make a cake!” said Lily. They gathered soft flour, sweet sugar, and eggs. They mixed and mixed. “Stir, stir, stir!” they laughed.
Next, Lily wanted balloons. “Bunny! Let's get balloons!” They ran to the big tree. “Look! Balloons!” said Bunny. They bounced and played with the balloons. “Pop! Pop!” went the balloons. They giggled and chased the colorful pieces.
Then, Lily remembered her family. “We need Grandma!” she said. “Let's call her!” They waved their hands. “Grandma! Come play!” Grandma came with a big smile and a hug. “Happy birthday, Lily!” she said.
Finally, it was time for the party. Lily, Bunny, and Grandma sat at a little table. They had cake and balloons. “Yum! Cake!” cheered Bunny. “Happy birthday!” sang Grandma.
Lily smiled big. “Best birthday!” she said. They laughed and shared cake. It was a joyful day filled with love, balloons, and cake. Lily's heart was happy. “More birthdays!” she cheered. And they all celebrated together.
