In a small, cozy village, there were two little boys named Oliver and Leo. Oliver and Leo loved to play and explore. One cool, crisp morning, they saw the leaves turning red, yellow, and orange. "Look, Leo, pretty leaves!" said Oliver, pointing with excitement.

Leo clapped his hands. "Yes, colors! Let's make something!" he giggled.

The boys decided to make a big, colorful picture with the leaves. They walked to the big, old tree where the ground was covered with leaves. Oliver picked up a red leaf. "Red leaf, like an apple!" he said, smiling.

Leo found a yellow leaf. "Yellow leaf, like the sun!" he laughed.

Together, they collected many leaves: brown, orange, and even a few green ones. They sat on the soft grass, and Leo said, "Let's make a big sun!"

Oliver nodded. "Yes, big sun!" They carefully placed the yellow leaves in a circle. Then, they added red and orange leaves around it. "Look, Leo, it's a sun with fire!" Oliver exclaimed.

Leo clapped. "Pretty sun!" he said happily.

As they worked, the wind blew gently, making the leaves dance. The boys giggled and watched the leaves swirl around them. "Leaves are dancing!" Oliver said with wide eyes.

"Yes, dancing leaves!" Leo agreed, laughing.

When the sun started to set, their picture was complete. It was a beautiful, colorful sun made of autumn leaves. Oliver and Leo stood back and admired their work. "We made a sun," Oliver said proudly.

Leo nodded, "Yes, a happy sun!"

Their moms came over and smiled at the boys' creation. "What a wonderful autumn picture!" said Oliver's mom.

"You did a great job," added Leo's mom, giving them hugs.

The boys felt warm and happy inside. They learned that autumn was a special time with beautiful colors and fun projects to do together. As they walked home, holding hands, they talked about making more leaf pictures tomorrow.

"Tomorrow, more leaves!" said Oliver.

"Yes, more leaves!" echoed Leo, already dreaming of the next day's fun.

And in the cozy village, as the leaves danced and the sun set, Oliver and Leo felt the simple joy of autumn all around them.
