Little Ben loved autumn. The leaves were yellow, orange, and red. They danced in the wind. "Look at the colors!" he said, smiling wide.
Ben walked to the park with his mom. “Let's collect leaves,” she said. They found big leaves and small leaves. “This one is bright!” Ben shouted. “And this one is crunchy!” He picked up a crunchy leaf and crunched it. “Crunch, crunch!”
Next, they went home. “Time to help with the garden,” said Mom. Ben nodded. “Yes! Let's get ready for winter!” They gathered sticks and leaves. Ben tossed the leaves into a big pile. “Whoosh!” The leaves flew up!
“Now we can make a leaf house,” said Mom. Ben clapped his hands. They made a soft, cozy house with leaves. “It's so nice!” said Ben. He sat inside, feeling warm and happy.
“Let's make hot cocoa,” said Mom. Ben loved hot cocoa. They stirred it together. “Swirl, swirl!” Ben giggled. They poured it into two cups. “Cheers!” they said, clinking their cups together.
Outside, the sun began to set. The sky turned pink and purple. “Look, Mom! The sky is pretty!” said Ben. “Yes, it's beautiful,” she replied, hugging him close.
As the day ended, Ben felt happy. “Autumn is fun!” he said. Mom smiled. “Yes, it is. We can enjoy every season together.” Ben nodded. He loved autumn, the colors, the leaves, and being with Mom. It was a special time.
