On a sunny day, a little boy named Max woke up. It was his birthday! Max smiled big. "Yay! It's my birthday!" he cheered.
But today, Max was not at home. He was at the beach with his family. “Where are the balloons?” Max asked. His mommy said, “Let's have a beach birthday!”
Max loved the beach. He put on his red hat and ran to the sand. “Look!” he said. “The sand is warm!” He wiggled his toes in the soft, golden sand.
Suddenly, Max met a girl named Mia. “Hi!” she said, waving. “It's my birthday too!” Max giggled. “Let's celebrate together!”
Max and Mia made a big sandcastle. “We need a flag!” Max shouted. “I have a blue one!” Mia added. They put the flag on top. “Hooray for the castle!” they cheered.
Then, Max had an idea. “Let's find seashells!” They walked along the shore, looking for pretty shells. “Look at this one!” Mia said. It was shiny and pink. “Wow!” said Max. “It's beautiful!”
Soon, they saw seagulls flying. “Let's fly like them!” Max laughed. They ran and flapped their arms. “We're birds!” they shouted.
Finally, it was time for cake. Max's mommy brought a big chocolate cake. “Happy birthday!” she sang. Mia clapped her hands. “Let's blow out the candles!”
Max closed his eyes tight. “One, two, three!” They blew together. “Puff! Puff!” The candles went out.
“Best birthday ever!” Max said with a big smile. “Best friends forever!” Mia replied, hugging Max.
And they celebrated happily all day under the warm sun.
