In a bright, cozy garden, a cheerful little acorn named Annie was getting ready for autumn. The leaves were turning orange and yellow. “Look at me!” Annie said, wiggling in the grass. “It's time for the autumn festival!”
The other acorns were busy too. “We will plant trees!” said Benny, a big acorn. “Yes! Trees will grow tall!” said Clara, a tiny acorn. Annie smiled. She loved the thought of tall trees.
“Let's gather our friends!” Annie said. The acorns rolled and bounced to find their friends—the colorful leaves. “Hello, leaves!” shouted Annie. “Will you join our festival?”
“Of course!” rustled the leaves. They danced in the breeze, making soft sounds. “We love autumn!”
The acorns and leaves played games. They played hide-and-seek under the big pumpkin. “One, two, three!” counted Benny. Annie hid behind a big, orange pumpkin. “I see you!” Benny laughed.
After playing, Annie and her friends had a snack. “Let's eat acorn cookies!” said Clara. They nibbled on sweet cookies made with love.
“Now, let's plant!” said Annie. They found a sunny spot. “Dig here!” said Benny. They all helped, digging and laughing. “Planting is fun!” said Clara, as she put Annie in the soil.
As the sun began to set, the garden glowed with golden light. “Goodnight, little acorns,” whispered the leaves. “Goodnight, friends!” said Annie, feeling warm and happy.
Annie knew she would grow into a strong tree one day. “Autumn is special,” she thought. “It's about friends, fun, and planting for tomorrow.”
The stars twinkled above, and the garden was peaceful. Annie smiled as she drifted off to sleep, dreaming of her tall tree and the next autumn festival.
