Lulu was a cheerful little girl, just 18 months old. One sunny morning, she found a bright blue envelope on her doorstep. “What's this?” she giggled, clapping her tiny hands. The envelope had sparkly stars all over it.
Lulu opened the envelope carefully. Inside was a colorful card that said, “You are invited to the Silly Sock Party! Come at 3 PM!” “Silly Sock Party! Yay!” she squealed. But wait, what was a Silly Sock Party?
Lulu looked at her socks. One was red with polka dots, and the other was blue with stripes. “These are silly!” she said, pulling them on. “I'm ready!”
Off she went to the park, her little feet pattering on the path. On her way, she met Mr. Bunny, who was munching on a carrot. “Hello, Mr. Bunny!” Lulu waved. “I'm going to a Silly Sock Party!”
Mr. Bunny twitched his nose. “A Silly Sock Party? What's that?”
Lulu thought hard, “I think it's where everyone wears silly socks and dances!”
Mr. Bunny laughed. “That sounds fun! Can I come?”
“Of course!” Lulu beamed. “Let's hop!”
They hopped together to the park. But oh no! When they arrived, no one was there! Lulu looked around, confused. “Where is everyone?” she asked.
Just then, a little bird flew down. “The party is at 3 PM, not 3 AM!” chirped the little bird.
Lulu giggled. “Oh silly me! We came too early!”
Mr. Bunny chuckled, “Let's wait and have our own silly sock dance right now!”
Lulu and Mr. Bunny danced and hopped, twirling in the grass. They wiggled their silly socks in the air. “Wiggle, wiggle!” Lulu sang.
Finally, the clock struck 3 PM, and other animals arrived, all wearing the silliest socks! They laughed and danced together.
“Thank you for inviting me!” Mr. Bunny said, laughing.
“It was so much fun!” Lulu replied, her eyes sparkling with joy.
As the sun set, Lulu waved goodbye to her friends. “Goodnight, silly socks! Goodnight, Mr. Bunny!” she whispered, snuggling into her cozy bed.
And with a smile, Lulu drifted off to sleep, dreaming of silly socks and happy dances.
