Max was a little boy with a big, fluffy pet dog named Bingo. One sunny afternoon, Max heard a funny sound. “Woof! Woof!” came Bingo's voice. Max blinked his big, round eyes. “Did you just talk?” he asked, giggling.

“Yes, I did!” said Bingo, wagging his tail. “Let's go on an adventure!”

Max clapped his hands. “Yay! An adventure!”

Bingo said, “Let's find some silly hats!” They ran to the closet. Max pulled out a big, red hat. Bingo wore a tiny blue hat. “You look funny!” Max laughed.

Then Bingo said, “Let's wear shoes on our heads!” Max put on his shoes. Bingo wore Max's socks. “Silly shoes!” they both giggled.

Just then, Mom peeked in. “What are you two up to?”

“Having fun!” shouted Max.

“Time for bed!” she said with a smile.

“Can we wear our hats?” asked Bingo.

“Of course!” said Mom.

Max snuggled into bed, wearing his red hat. Bingo curled up with his blue hat. “Goodnight, Max! Goodnight, Bingo!”

“Goodnight!” they both said, giggling softly. As they drifted off to sleep, they dreamed of more silly adventures together.
