Lily woke up with a big smile. “Today is my birthday!” she squealed.

“Happy birthday, Lily!” said her teddy bear, Mr. Cuddles. He wore a tiny party hat.

“Thank you, Mr. Cuddles!” giggled Lily. “I want cake!”

Just then, her friend Benny the bunny hopped in. “Happy birthday, Lily!” he said, bouncing with joy. “Do you want to play?”

“First, cake!” shouted Lily, clapping her hands.

“Okay!” said Benny. “Let's find the cake!”

They ran to the kitchen. “Where is the cake?” asked Benny, looking all around.

“Maybe it's hiding!” giggled Lily.

Suddenly, they heard a funny noise. “Rumble, rumble!”

“What is that?” asked Benny, ears perked up.

“It's the cake!” squealed Lily.

With a big smile, Mama walked in with a delicious chocolate cake! “Surprise!” she said.

“Yay!” shouted Lily and Benny together.

“Let's eat!” said Lily, as they all gathered around the cake, ready for a big, sweet celebration!
