In a cozy little house, three little boys named Max, Leo, and Sam played together every day. They laughed and shared toys. They built towers with blocks and ran in the garden. But when the sun went down and the sky turned dark, something changed.
“Max, I'm scared!” Leo said, his little voice trembling. “The dark is big and quiet!”
“Me too!” Sam chimed in. “What if there are shadows?”
Max looked at his friends. “Let's read a story!” he suggested. “Stories are fun and bright!”
So, they snuggled on the soft, fluffy rug. Max picked a book with colorful pictures. “This story is about a brave bear,” he said. “He is not scared of the dark!”
Together, they opened the book and began to read. “Once, there was a bear named Benny. Benny loved to play, but he was scared of the dark. One night, Benny saw a little star twinkling. ‘Hello, Star!' said Benny. ‘You are so bright!'”
The boys giggled. “Benny is brave!” Leo said.
Max turned the page. “Benny asked the star, ‘Can you help me?' The star smiled. ‘Just look for the light!' Benny took a deep breath. He found his flashlight and shone it around. The dark was not so scary anymore!”
Sam clapped his hands. “Benny found the light! We can find the light too!”
Max nodded. “Let's be like Benny. We can use my nightlight!” He pointed to the soft, glowing nightlight in the corner. It shined like a little sun in the dark.
“Can we have a story every night?” Leo asked with a smile.
“Yes!” Sam cheered. “Stories make us brave!”
As they settled down, Max whispered, “Remember, we are together. We can be brave like Benny, the bear!” The boys hugged each other tight.
With the nightlight shining and the story in their hearts, the three little boys drifted off to sleep, dreaming of stars, light, and brave adventures. The dark was now a friendly place.
And every night, they knew they could face it together.
