In a big, colorful circus tent, a little girl named Lily giggled with delight. The tent was tall and bright, with red and yellow stripes. The air smelled sweet, like cotton candy! “Look, look!” she shouted, pointing at the funambulist, Mr. Wobble. He was walking on a tiny rope high above.
“Wobble, wobble, wibble!” Mr. Wobble said, balancing on one foot. He wore a shiny hat and a big, silly smile. “Can you do this, Lily?”
Lily clapped her hands. “I want to try! I can wobble too!”
Mr. Wobble laughed. “Let's see! Follow me!” He jumped down, and the crowd cheered. Lily followed him to the big, soft mat.
“First, we stand tall!” Mr. Wobble said, stretching his arms like a tree. Lily stretched her arms wide. “Wider!” he said. So, she opened her arms wide, like a big, happy bird.
“Now, we wiggle!” Mr. Wobble wiggled his hips. “Wiggle, wiggle!”
“Wiggle, wiggle!” Lily laughed, copying him. The crowd clapped and cheered, “Yay, Lily!”
“Now, we're going to bounce!” Mr. Wobble said. He bounced up and down. “Bouncy, bouncy!”
“Bouncy, bouncy!” Lily giggled. She bounced too, on her little feet.
“Let's walk on the rope!” Mr. Wobble said, pointing to the tiny rope on the ground.
“Okay, okay!” Lily said, her eyes shining. She stepped on the rope, wobbling just like Mr. Wobble.
“Great job, Lily!” he cheered.
“Wobble, wobble!” she laughed, feeling like a circus star. The audience laughed and clapped.
Lily felt happy. “I love the circus! I want to be a funambulist too!”
Mr. Wobble smiled. “You are already! Let's wobble again!”
And they wobbled together, filling the circus with laughter and joy!
