Bobby has a big red nose. He puts on his yellow hat. “Toot-toot!” goes his toy trumpet. Today, Bobby visits the happy circus! The tent is big and round. It smells like popcorn. “Wow!” says Bobby.
Bobby sees Bella the bear. She wears pink shoes and spins in a circle. “Hop, hop, hop!” Bella dances. “Can I try?” asks Bobby. He jumps—hop!—and his hat falls. “Ooooh!” say the clowns. Bobby giggles. “Hahaha!” says Bella.
In the circus ring, Max the monkey rides a tiny bike. “Ring-ring!” goes the bell. Max wobbles, bumps into a balloon—pop!—and balloons fly up. “Oops!” says Max. Bobby claps, “Yay!” Balloons float down, soft and slow.
Behind the curtain, Bobby peeks. There is Sally the silly seal. She balances a ball on her nose. “Boing-boing!” The ball bounces—plop!—on Bobby's head. “Ooooh!” everyone says. Bobby laughs, “That tickles!”
Next, Bobby tries to juggle. One, two, three soft balls. “Whee!” The balls roll everywhere. The clowns help. “Catch!” says one. “Here!” says another. Soon, Bobby juggles two balls. “Bravo!” shouts the ringmaster.
Parade time! Bobby, Bella, Max, and Sally march around. “La-la-la!” goes the band. Bobby waves. Everyone claps. “Hooray!”
At the circus, fun is everywhere, and friends always help each other.
