Little Tom woke up with a big smile. Today was Christmas Day! The snow outside looked like a fluffy white blanket. Inside, the house was warm and cozy. Tom ran to the living room, giggling with excitement. There, the Christmas tree sparkled with colorful lights and shiny ornaments.
“Look, Mommy!” Tom said, pointing to a shiny red ball.
“Yes, Tom,” Mommy replied, “Isn't it beautiful?”
Tom nodded. He spotted a small stocking hanging by the fireplace. It had his name on it! Tom reached up and pulled it down. Inside, he found a little teddy bear wearing a red scarf.
“Hello, Teddy!” Tom said, giving it a hug. Teddy was soft and cuddly, perfect for snuggles.
Mommy and Daddy joined Tom by the tree. They sang a happy Christmas song together. Tom clapped his hands and danced around.
“Time for a special breakfast!” Daddy said, leading everyone to the table. There were warm pancakes with syrup and fruit. Tom's favorite!
After breakfast, it was time to open presents. Tom's eyes grew wide as he unwrapped a big box. Inside was a colorful train set. He and Daddy set it up together, and Tom watched the train go round and round.
“Choo-choo!” Tom laughed, waving to the little train.
As the day went on, Tom played with his new toys and had lots of hugs. The house was filled with laughter and love.
At bedtime, Tom snuggled with Teddy under his blanket, feeling safe and happy.
Christmas is special, Tom thought, because we are together.
