A 2-year-old girl, joyful and amazed, with round rosy cheeks, short blonde pigtails and big bright eyes, wearing a red polka-dot dress and snow-wet slippers, holds a small brown teddy bear named Mr. Snuggles (soft, plump, with a blue bow) and looks out a frosted window at large round falling snowflakes; her smiling mother (about 30, chestnut hair in a ponytail) stands near the kitchen at right holding a porcelain tray of cookies. Cozy Christmas living room with a stone fireplace, red stockings, multicolored string lights, a cream rug, warm lighting and textures contrasting with the cold blue window; main scene: the girl hugs her bear as the mother offers a cookie. report a problem with this image

On a snowy Christmas Eve, little Lucy tiptoed through the twinkling lights of her living room. "Oh!" she giggled, spotting the big, fluffy stockings hung by the fireplace. They were red and white, like candy canes!

Lucy heard a soft jingle. "Ting-a-ling!" Her teddy bear, Mr. Snuggles, wiggled in her arms. "Did you hear that?" Lucy whispered. Mr. Snuggles, with his button eyes, seemed to nod.

Outside the window, snowflakes danced down from the sky, "Swish, swish," they whispered. Lucy's eyes widened with wonder. "Look, Mr. Snuggles, it's snowing!" she cheered.

Lucy imagined Santa flying through the sky in his big, red sleigh. "Whoosh!" she said, pretending to hold the reins. "Faster, faster!" she giggled, feeling the magic tingle in the air.

Just then, Mommy called from the kitchen, "Cookies are ready!" Lucy ran to the kitchen, her feet going "pitter-patter" on the wooden floor. The sweet smell of gingerbread filled the room. Lucy took a cookie and shared a tiny piece with Mr. Snuggles. "Yum!" she said, her eyes sparkling.

As Lucy snuggled into bed later, she whispered, "Merry Christmas, Mr. Snuggles." And she knew, with a happy heart, that Christmas magic was the best of all.

Love is the magic that makes every moment special.
