Next to him, a cheerful clown, about 30 years old, with a bright red nose and colorful messy hair, juggles colorful balls. He wears a multicolored striped costume and makes funny faces to entertain the boy. In the background, a large red and white striped circus tent rises under a bright blue sky, surrounded by sparkling lights and enthusiastic spectators. Circus animals, like monkeys in little hats, ride bicycles, adding a touch of magic to the atmosphere. Tommy is a happy boy. He loves the circus! One sunny day, Tommy goes to the circus with his mom.

“Look, Mom!” says Tommy. “Big tent!”

Inside the tent, there is a funny clown. The clown has a big red nose, big shoes, and makes everyone laugh.

“Hello, little boy!” says the clown. “Do you like balloons?”

“Yes, please!” says Tommy with a big smile.

The clown gives Tommy a red balloon. It goes up and up, almost as tall as the tent!

“Wow!” says Tommy. “So big!”

Next, Tommy sees the acrobats. They flip and jump high. “Look at them fly!” says Tommy.

“Wheee!” says the acrobat. She flips again and again. Tommy claps his hands.

Now, here come the silly animals! The monkeys wear tiny hats. They ride bicycles!

“Look, Mom! Monkeys on bikes!” Tommy laughs and laughs.

One monkey wobbles. “Oops!” says the monkey. It wobbles again but does not fall. Tommy giggles.

Then, it's snack time. Tommy eats popcorn. Crunch, crunch! It's so yummy.

“Time for tricks!” says the clown. The clown juggles three colorful balls. Round and round they go!

“Can you do this, Tommy?” asks the clown.

Tommy tries to juggle. One, two, three—oops! The balls fall down.

“That's okay!” says the clown. He claps for Tommy. Tommy giggles again.

It's the lion's turn. “Roar!” goes the lion. But it's a soft roar. Tommy is not scared.

“Good lion!” says the trainer. She pets the lion. The lion winks at Tommy. Tommy waves back.

The circus is so fun! “Come back soon, Tommy!” says the clown.

“Bye-bye, clown!” says Tommy. He waves goodbye with his red balloon.

Tommy skips home with his mom. He dreams of clowns, balloons, and funny monkeys.

What a happy circus day!
