On a bright, sunny morning, little Lily woke up with a giggle. "Hooray! It's Easter Day!" She jumped up and looked around. Her room was filled with colorful bunnies and cheerful eggs.
Lily remembered they had a special egg—a sparkly, rainbow egg! "Where is my rainbow egg?" she wondered. She looked here, then there. "Oh no!"
Lily ran to her friend, Benny the bunny. "Benny! Have you seen my rainbow egg?" she asked, her eyes wide.
Benny twitched his nose. "No, I haven't! Let's find it together!"
So, off they went, hopping and skipping through the green grass. "Look in the flowers!" said Benny. They peeked in bright daisies and colorful tulips.
"Nothing here!" said Lily, a little sad.
But then, they heard a giggle! Who could it be?
It was the butterflies! "We saw it!" they fluttered. "It's by the big oak tree!"
Lily and Benny raced to the tree. “Hooray!” Lily squealed. There was the rainbow egg, shining in the sun!
"I found it!" she shouted, holding it high.
The butterflies danced around them, and Lily laughed. "Thank you, butterflies!"
Lily and Benny gave each other a big hug. They skipped back home, ready for Easter fun, with the sparkly rainbow egg safe in Lily's arms.
