Three characters in a family garden at sunset: Anna, 5, brown hair in pigtails, pink pompom hat, yellow polka-dot dress, holding a small woven basket in her right hand at the left near a large oak, happily pointing at a red egg at the tree’s base; Sam, 4, blond messy hair, blue cap, green sweater, holding a light-blue basket at the right, crouched by a small rounded rock, picking up a blue egg and smiling; a white rabbit with modeling-clay textured fur and shiny black eyes in the center, nudging a green egg toward Anna. The scene shows layered textured green grass, the oak with visible roots, a red-and-white check blanket on the grass, string lights between the oak and a wooden fence, a blurred pastel house in the background, and scattered red, blue, yellow, and pink eggs, with soft laughing expressions and a warm, calm late-afternoon atmosphere. report a problem with this image

Anna and Sam wake to sun. It is Easter day. They wear bright hats. They hold small baskets. They run to the green yard. The grass is soft. Little eggs hide near the tree. The eggs are red, blue, yellow, and pink. Anna points. "Look," she said. Sam finds a blue egg by a rock. He smiles. "Found one," he said.

A tiny rabbit hops near the gate. It is gentle and white. It nudges a green egg to Anna. Anna laughs. They share a hug. A bird sings high in the sky. The wind brings the smell of cake. Mom brings warm cake and milk. They sit on a soft mat. They open their eggs. Inside are stickers, tiny toys, and bits of sweet. They clap. They paint one egg with blue dots. They hang it on a small branch like a bright star.

The sun goes low. The lights in the house glow. Anna and Sam hold hands. They feel glad and safe. They say good night to the rabbit and the yard.

Kind hearts and shared joy make each day bright.
