A small boy wakes with a bright smile. He is four. He runs to the yard. The sun is warm. The grass is soft. Birds sing. Mom has a big box of eggs. Dad brings a bowl of dye. "Red," says the boy. He finds one by a stone. He claps. Each egg is bright and warm like a tiny ball of sun. A blue egg, a red egg, a green egg, a yellow egg. A soft breeze brings the scent of flowers. A little bunny hops by and sniffs a carrot. The boy smiles and waves. The bunny wags its nose and hops away.
