Four characters: a ~5-year-old brown-haired boy in a light blue dress and white sneakers at left holding a large wicker basket of colored eggs; a ~4-year-old blond boy in a yellow T-shirt and green shorts at center proudly showing a shiny blue egg in his right hand; a ~5-year-old black-haired boy in a pale pink sweater and beige pants at right crouching to hand a rolled egg back to the first boy; and a small fluffy white rabbit with pink inner ears behind them near a tree, sniffing and leaving a pastel egg on the grass. Setting: a bright spring garden with tender green lawn, clusters of red and yellow tulips, a small round-leaved tree at right and a pale blue sky with soft clouds. Main scene: three children collecting Easter eggs, one egg rolled and is being returned, joyful pastel colors, rounded shapes, simple silhouettes, soft morning light, warm cozy mood. report a problem with this image

The sun is up and the sky is blue. Leo, Max, and Sam run into the garden. Their little shoes go tap, tap, tap. Today is Easter! There are bright eggs hidden everywhere. Some eggs are yellow, some are pink, and some are green like grass.

Leo looks behind a flower. “I found one!” he says. Max laughs and claps his hands. Sam peeks under a bush. “Egg!” says Sam, and he shows his shiny blue egg. The boys put the eggs in a big basket. The basket is soft and round. It smells a little like grass.

Max spots a small bunny hopping near a tree. The bunny wiggles its nose. “Hello, Bunny!” says Max. The bunny blinks and hops away, leaving a little egg behind. The boys giggle. “Thank you, Bunny!” they say together.

Suddenly, Leo's egg rolls away and stops near Sam's foot. Sam picks it up and gives it back. “Here, Leo,” Sam says. Leo smiles. The boys sit on the soft grass. They open one egg. Inside, there are tiny cookies. They share the cookies and laugh.

The sun is warm. The garden is full of colors and smiles.

Being kind and sharing makes Easter happy for everyone.
