Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Max. Max loved Easter. Max loved eggs. Max loved bunnies. One sunny day, Max found a big, shiny egg. It was a special Easter egg. The egg had a note. The note said, "Find a friend!"
Max was excited. "I will find a friend!" Max said. Max looked around. Max saw a fluffy bunny. "Hello, Bunny," said Max. "Will you be my friend?" The bunny wiggled its nose. "Yes, yes!" said Bunny.
Max and Bunny walked to the farm. They saw a big, brown cow. "Hello, Cow," said Max. "Will you be our friend?" The cow mooed loudly. "Moo, yes, yes!" said Cow.
Max, Bunny, and Cow walked to the field. They saw a little, yellow chick. "Hello, Chick," said Max. "Will you be our friend?" The chick chirped happily. "Chirp, yes, yes!" said Chick.
Now Max had many friends. Max was happy. Bunny was happy. Cow was happy. Chick was happy.
Max opened the big, shiny egg. Inside was a chocolate treat. "Yum!" said Max. Max shared the chocolate with Bunny, Cow, and Chick. They all smiled.
Max, Bunny, Cow, and Chick sat under a big tree. They sang a happy song. "Friends, friends, we are friends. Happy Easter, happy friends!" they sang.
The sun went down. Max yawned. "Time to go home," Max said. Max hugged Bunny. Max hugged Cow. Max hugged Chick. "Goodbye, friends," said Max.
Max went home with a big smile. Max had a big, happy heart. Max loved Easter. Max loved friends. And Max loved his big, shiny egg.
